Or so their website says. Let the countdown begin!
EDIT: Sunshine Village plans to open way earlier: November 8.
Okay, so.
On August 27 it will be five months since I had my ACL tear repaired. At this point, I feel like I’m totally recovered. Of course, that’s not the case. The ACL isn’t even close to ready for the “hard stuff” - hockey, basketball, ultimate frisbee and the like - and my knee still [...]
Winter must be on the way because a) traffic is up and b) so are the number of inbound emails I’m getting. Here’s a rundown of some of the interesting ‘heads ups’ I’ve been given recently on various snowboarding sites:

It’s coming, folks!
Damn Canada Geese! Out of my way!

“We have been experiencing difficulties in influencing the appropriate risk taking behavior,” the letter says, adding it is making the transition into a “more controlled access facility”. The letter mentioned several [...]
New lifts and new runs are in store for riders this year at Brian Head, a popular Utah ski resort. Apparently the upgrades have been a long time coming, and the locals are therefore quite pleased.
Hey, Intrawest: how about you look into doing the same for Blue Mountain?
