Helmets are Becoming Accessories

This article in Business 2.0 focuses on ski helmets, but I think it’s applicable to snowboarding helmets, too: helmets aren’t just for protection anymore; they’re also for style.
Also, have you  seen the new Bern 2007 snowboarding helmets? I think they look awesome; might replace the Bad Lieutenant with one of these next year.

Ontario Ski Season: Still Sucking

I can’t believe it’s almost January and I’m still not snowboarding. Oy.
Associated Press is running an update on the industry. Looks like Blue Mountain is opening two runs — big deal.
Interestingly, 20 percent of skier visits in Ontario take place between Christmas and January 8. I bet that applies to most resorts worldwide.
