Some of you have had your plans set for months. Others are busy working away, calling friends and resorts to book your ski/snowboard vacations. Some of you have talked a good game, but have not actually DONE anything yet. Time to get off your duffs before the best times are booked and you are left at home watching TV instead of shredding!
I subscribe to expedia newsletters for travel deals. I received one recently that had some great offers for vacation packages, hotel rooms, and lift tickets. Check out at their website here. There are tons of travel and tour groups you can seek out online. I recommend trying out a few to find the best possible deal.
I am personally booked to hit Lake Louise around December 19th. It’ll be my first time there and I am pretty stoked. I have also booked a trip to Jay Peak for the end of January. I haven’t been there in about 4 years so I am excited to return. Adam will be there for that so you’ll certainly get to read all about it (The dude is basically married to his macbook and iPhone). I am also planning on going to Holiday Valley in New York and I have my season pass for Blue Mountain once again. Maybe I’ll even sneak in a trip to Mt. Tremblant in there.
What trips do you have planned for this season? What trips are you hoping to plan?
Lake Louise looks nice.

When r u going to holiday valley, thats like 30 min away from me
Woot Jay Peak! Remind me to pay before the 12th!
I spent a week in Tremblant last february – we had amazing weather with snow all week long and not too cold or windy.
I just finalized plans this year for Park City, 6 nights 5 days in February. It’s going to be siiiiick.
I might also take a weekend and head down to Snowshoe in West Virginia to meet some friends halfway (they’re coming from NC and FL).
I did Whistler a few years ago & we had the worst weather ever – they hadn’t gotten any freshies for over two weeks before we got there, so everything was tracked out and packed to ice. And it was very cold. Whistler owes me, big time. We’ll probably end up there next year to get revenge…
Apparently I am NOT going to Lake Louise, but rather Jasper this time around. Will still be fun, no doubt. They just got a lot of snow out west and the weather will warm up just as I arrive.
John, no definite plans for Holiday Valley yet. February is a likely option.
David, kick Whistler’s ass. I can imagine the frustration you experienced.
