I used to think they were independent, the I heard that they were owned by mervin. These are the same guys that own those silly department stores. Ahh... there is no way to just be indy these days. It was much easier to hop on a bus. Too bad, 'cause some of those mountains look pretty sweet. Oh well. At least I'll be riding in June, so I guess I can't complain. :) Hey Adam,

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of weeks in NZ in 2005, and based myself mostly in Queenstown within easy reach of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. Also had a day over at Cadrona and a couple at Mount Hutt. Amazing place. Not snowboarded in Oz, but would find it hard not to head straight back to NZ should I find myself in that area during winter again. Look forward to reading the posts.
