To the Extreme: Top 10 Extreme Runs

Hey, sorry for the radio silence. A busy personal schedule and hectic couple of weeks of work, mixed with some business travel, have conspired to keep me from the blog. But I’m back.

Let’s start with an article I came across this week on the top 10 most extreme runs worldwide. These are sanctioned runs you can (generally) find on a trail map. A Whistler Blackcomb run makes the list, along with some others I’ll probably never try (truth be told I will likely never try the Whistler one listed either). Of course, nothing from Ontario makes the list. 700 or 800 feet just ain’t extreme enough.
