Hey Adam, my name is Rob. I was reading your recovery from your acl damage. I am just curious my girlfriend myriam competes at nationals and Norams in border cross. Last weekend she had a bad landing on a flat and partial tore her acl and mcl along with some miniscus damage. She is talking about being back on snow in a month or two, i am seriously worried about this and have recommended for her to get mri and call it quits on the season. Between you and i is it possible in your opinion for her to ever get back to the national stage? She is going to take the season off competing and focus on rehab. Anyways thanks for the help bro.

Hey Rob, really sorry to hear about your girlfriend. I guess the big question is — does she need surgery?

Either way, LOTS of pro athletes recover from this sort of stuff very quickly, so I don’t see why returning to the national stage would be an issue. Personally having had the surgery I can tell you that the fact I had it repaired does not hinder me whatsoever.
