Greetings from Whistler!
Today was an odd day: it was about seven degrees celsius at the peak, and sub-zero at the base. It was totally spring skiing.
I’ll post some updates when I have some time but in the meantime here’s a couple of photos from today.
This first is the Peak to Peak Gondola. I managed to catch one going the other way. It moves quite fast when you’re zipping by on your own Peak to Peak Gondola. The other is the terrifying view from the actual gondola. I gotta say, it’s pretty amazing.. and terrifying.

Thanx for posting your first peek at the Peak to Peak!
Looking forward to more Whistler pix …

Hope you’re having a blast, buddy!
Gosh, I can’t wait to ride the Peak 2 Peak!
Gotta love temperature inversion when it’s not snowing!
The Peak 2 Peak is just insane. I’ve done it three times now and it scares the living hell out of me every time. But it is also phenomenal, fascinating and one hell of a piece of engineering.
As for the temperature inversion: it’s made for amazing days. You can stay outside all day without having to warm up! Downsides are some slightly sketchy conditions in areas (got to keep an eye out for rocks) and no fresh snow. But now that Harmony and Seventh Heaven are open daily I’m relatively happy terrain-wise.
Cheers
