Builder Profile: Venture Snowboards
Venture Snowboards is a very small, independent shop that makes boards out of Colorado. This is another company that brings a great perspective and approach to what they do. If I were to run a snowboard company it would look and sound a lot like Venture. Check out their site here.
They use a minimalist design philosophy and have a craftsman’s approach to making their snowboards. The quality seems top notch and I would love to try out their all-mountain model.

The reason I originally wanted to write about Venture was to let you all know about the photo contest they are holding. Basically, they are accepting photo submissions for anything that captures “the mountain life”. First tier competitions will take place monthly from September 2008 through March 2009.
