I Now Officially Declare Ski and Snowboard Season Open

Labour Day weekend means a lot of things. No work. The start of school. Some strange rule about white shoes and pants and purses or something. And it also means ski and snowboard season is underway.

Okay, maybe I’m jumping the gun just a little bit. But if this year’s season is anything like last year’s, some of us will be riding in less than 45 days. Ski resorts are starting to ramp up their pass sales, equipment swaps and sales are starting, and I’m thinking of putting together my annual “It’s September. So where are we going this year?” email to my riding buddies. So riding is getting closer.

Therefore, I officially decree: let the ski and snowboard season begin!

Not sure why I get to make that decision but I do. So there.
