Whistler: 4.5 Feet in the Past Seven Days

The headline pretty much says it all. While most skill hills in Ontario are practically closed thanks to this insane January thaw, Whistler is having an epic winter. And it’s supposed to snow this week, too.

You ever have to watch it snow somewhere else, know that you’re going there soon, and hope to all things holy that it keeps snowing when you get there? That’s the situation I’m in. I won’t be hitting the slopes there until next Friday; I can only hope the conditions stay the way they are until then.

  1. I was there from Wed-Sun this past week, and it was insane! It did not stop snowing the entire time we were there except for brief moments. I think they must have gotten over 20″ or more while we were there.

    I feel you on watching it snow elsewhere… I’m headed to Mammoth next Friday myself, where they received EIGHT FEET of snow in the past 5ish days!
