Road Trip and Road Trip Essentials
It’s gonna be light posting this weekend as Steve and I head to Tremblant for a few days of shredding and beer. We’ll return to regular posting next week.
Here’s what the shred calendar for this year currently looks like:
- This weekend: Tremblant
- Mid-January: Whistler
- Early February: Jay Peak
- Late February: Banff
A couple of these trips are flights, and a couple are hellish bus rides. Regardless, I have several essentials that come on each trip:
- The latest Transworld Snowboarding or Snowboard Canada magazine, to get me hyped;
- My iPod, complete with Creative earphones to block out the noise, along with some Explosions in the Sky to relax me;
- Sominex, especially for the red eye flights and buses;
- My beloved Helly Hansen hoodie, to help me through temperature changs on the vehicle;
- A Playstation Portable, graciously lent by my sister, so I can rock the FIFA Soccer 07 (not sure why I’m addicted to it, but I am).
- My Macbook Pro, for which I am seeking a wicked sticker right now.

Ironic you’re looking for a “wicked sticker” for your MacBook Pro. I have a MacBook pro with one sticker on it: the nossaTV logo. We affectionately called our logo the “bugsplat.” But we also refer to nossaTV as “Wicked. Video.” I’ll send you a nice die-cut or a regular vinyl sticker. Send me your address.
