Ontarians Receive Bicycle Tax Exemption

Four days ago Ontario began exempting sales tax on bicycles and safety related equipment. The exemption is applied towards new or used bikes that are less than $1000, and this will last until November 30, 2008.

Combine this new exemption with end-of-year prices and it might be time to finally pick up that road or mountain bike.
