Sandboarding: Where Shredding Dry Gnar is Possible

I’ve had people at work tell me about it, it’s in the news and it’s of course on YouTube. What am I talking about? Sandboarding, of course! :)

The sport actually needs very little explanation. Get a board, some boots, and shred some sand. The only problem seems to be a lack of lifts in most locales; however, if you’re up for hiking a sand dune, the terrain is usually all yours.

This might be a good summer pastime to complement golf! Now if we could only do something about the lack of dunes in Ontario…

  3. hmm, snow down your pants seems pleasant thinking what sand would be like …. thats pretty cool though, i still remember jumping off dune cliffs onto 45 degree sand inclines, get a running start, catch some air, and stop like a truck in a runaway truck zone
