My ACL Tear and Recovery

Into Month Five: Snowboarding is Coming!

Posting in the summer months is hard because the amount of news and information circulating about riding slows down. Resorts slow down. Everyone’s wakeboarding. So be rest assured I’m not ignoring the blog!

I do have several posts lined up on some of the emails I’ve received lately related to specials, contests, new sites and the like. So if you’ve emailed me recently, thank you. I’ve been traveling and working pretty hard recently but will get back to you!

As I enter month five of my recovery from an ACL tear, I’m starting to get excited. If you live in North America, it’s probably hot and sticky as hell wherever you are. But if you live in Toronto, you know summer is coming to an end and snowboarding is on the way.

How? It’s almost time for the Canadian National Exhibition, known as the CNE! (Or “The Ex” more affectionately.)

The CNE, which runs from mid-August to Labour Day weekend, is a huge event with a midway, shopping, marketplaces, etc. etc. I think most major Canadian (and American perhaps?) cities have something similar. Once the CNE is finished, it’s time to go back to school for the kids, which means… winter’s coming! Hold on to your hats!

Okay, maybe I’m jumping the gun just a wee bit. But it’s coming. Honest.

Time to get on a flight to Saskatchewan!

(Edit: I just realized this post has like four exclamation marks in it. Can you tell I’m excited[!])
