Everything seems to be going very well. Although I feared the oncoming pain in a preivous surgery post, it actually never arrived! I’m on some pretty low-powered painkillers that keep what pain there is at bay; I’ve also got some more serious ‘use when your knee really hurts’ painkillers, but haven’t used them once.
I’m also now more or less off crutches and back to walking. The one pain in the ass is this huge bandage on my knee, which is supported by a giant stablizier; bending the knee much is unfortunately not a possibility at this point. But I’ll take the walking.
My follow-up appointment is Wednesday; I think the bandages get changed, but they don’t come off. From what I understand, physio will start the week after that.
