Ontario Snowboarding

Were Those Snowboarding Jumps I Saw?

If you live in Toronto, you probably know you can get a good view of the North York Ski Centre from the Sheppard Avenue bridge that spans the valley the Centre is located in. I usually crane my neck as I go by to get a good view, just to see how busy it is and how the snow looks. I rarely actually go, as the vertical is only something like 150 feet, and the terrain isn’t very interesting.

As I passed the hill yesterday, I could have sworn I saw that a few jumps have been built. If that’s the case, I’m going to head out there. Urban jumps are in short supply! Get those urban terrain parks going, I say!
