1,300 Laid off at Blue Mountain

It’s tipster day. JB points to a Toronto Star article reporting that 1,300 employees have been laid off at Blue Mountain for at least three weeks thanks to the incredibly crappy weather (unless the weather improves soon). That’s terrible news. And here in Toronto, it looks like the city-owned slopes might not open at all.

What a terrible, terrible season.
