The new issue of Snowboard Canada Magazine has a write-up about Office Booyz, a pretty funny event held at Grouse Mountain in April 2006. (For those of you who don’t know, Grouse Mountain is a 25-run ski area in north Vancouver with a vertical drop of some 1,200 feet. Vancouverites love to gloat about how you can ski and golf in the same day if you live in Van City.)
Anyway, the contest brought together office workers from the Vancouver area who are pretty good at park riding, but can’t do it full-time because their office jobs get in the way. All sorts of contests were held, including ones based on donut and coffee consumption. Some of the Office Booyz folks put a compilation of the day together, it’s pretty funny.
