Whistler Open End to End

Riding Whistler in the early season (pre-Christmas, I suppose) has several advantages. It’s cheaper, there’s less line-ups, and most terrain is still available. Traditionally, the downside is ‘downloading’: having to take a lift/gondola back down to the base of the moutain due to a lack of snow. This year, it seems there was very little downloading: I can’t find it now, but I’m positive I saw mention on Whistler’s site yesterday that ‘ski-out’ (that is, ride to the bottom) was now an option; no downloading required.

I think I’m going to update the Whistler guide with some info on early season.
