A commenter recently lamented that Meadowlands Xanadu, an indoor ski hill project in New Jersey, was reportedly not going to get built. But according to First Tracks, the project is back on. Now, am I correct in reading that the hill will be 780 feet tall? That’s bigger than anything we have OUTDOORS here in Ontario.
I just checked the fact sheet. 780-foot long ‘advanced’ slope, 112-foot rise. 330-foot beginner slope. Looks interesting! Indoor slopes certainly aren’t the best for freeriding, from what I can tell, but I’m sure there will be a park to keep the jumpers and rail fans happy.
