Lots of Snow in Southern Ontario, Buffalo

It’s been an interesting few days around here weather-wise. In Toronto, we’ve been getting flurries on and off, but nothing that has stuck. Still, skiers and snowboarders in the area are getting excited, because it’s not usually this cold so early.
There has been some significant snowfall just to the west of us, and there has [...]

Report From the Toronto Ski & Snowboard Show

As promised, I hit the Toronto Ski and Snowboard Show earlier today. I showed up around 6:30, about three and a half hours after doors opened.  I was surprised to find a fairly a large crowd outside lined up for tickets; I didn’t think many people would head down on a Thursday evening. When I [...]

If you live or are going to be in the Greater Toronto Area, head down and check it out. Keep reading for hours and admission details.

Here’s an interesting article. The folks who run SkiUtah.com, an information site on skiing in Utah (what a surprise!), have now launched RideUtah.com, a site dedicated entirely to snowboarding in Utah. The site is a result of a collaboration with Burton and Three Magazine, and has a fairly wide variety of content designed to cover [...]

Today is Catmas

Totally off-topic: Today is Catmas, also known as “Post a Picture of a Cat to Your Blog Day”, areferring to the cliche that people always post pictures of their cats on their blogs. This holiday is also known as BlogACatMas. Frankly, I’m upset that I have to be at work on such a special day.
Anyway, [...]
