Booking a Place to Stay in Whistler, Aspen or Anywhere Else

As someone who visits Whistler relatively often (for an Ontario resident, anyway), one question I get asked fairly often is: “If I visit Whistler, where should I stay?” Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy answer. Someone who wants to be in the middle of the village ‘action’, so to speak, won’t like staying a mile away; however, a full-sized house just outside the village area is a dream location for families and large groups So, since I’m booking my next trip right now, I thought I would let everyone in on my dirty little secret: rentalo.com.

Rentalo takes all the work out of finding a place to stay by turning the process on its head. Instead of browsing through hotel websites or travel portals like Expedia, simply tell Rentalo where you’re going, when, how much you want to spend and what sort of accomodations you’re looking for. Within hours of submitting your request, you’ll receive personalized offers for hotels, condos and houses (in my case, I was seeking accomodations in the Whistler area, but you can submit a request for pretty much anywhere). I received more than twenty offers tailored to my needs in three days, and ended up with several offers that I would consider outstanding. Our final choice was superb, and we hope to stay there again this year, too.

Now, Rentalo does offer the same features as Expedia – for example, you can simply browse properties – but I would highly recommend clicking the “Submit Inquiry” tag. It takes all the hassle out of finding a place to stay, and actually makes it fun.
