Snowboarding

Is It Snowing Yet?

Temperatures are starting to slip here in Toronto, about a week after
an incredible heat wave that stretched our power grid to the max. When
I stepped outside this morning to head to work, it was downright
chilly; I immediately thought about snowboarding, and how it was
starting to feel like fall again. We’ll see how long that lasts!

I’m very excited about the upcoming season. I have a lot of vacation
time to use, and plan to put it all toward snowboarding trips. I’ve
also committed to an early-season Tremblant trip, and a Whistler trip;
of course, there will be more.

One potential wrench in my plans will be knee surgery. My current plan
is to put it off until next spring, but we’ll see what the surgeon’s
schedule looks like (he said it’s a six to eight month wait anyhow).
Have I mentioned the knee in a while? It’s feeling really good. I have
a kickass brace with metal rods that lets me run, play softball, and
even play ultimate. I just have to be careful!

Okay, so I didn’t have too much to say. I just got excited, because
today was the first day one could sense that fall was on the
way.

I bet there’s lots of folks in Toronto who would want to kick my ass for saying that…

  1. I’m in Toronto as well. I”m going to flip if I don’t get to go riding soon.
I’m working on a shirt line that most riders would probably like
