Ross Rebagliati, arguably Canada’s most famous snowboarder ever, has a blog… sort of. The site, rossrebagliati.com, is more about following Ross as he trains for the 2010 Winter Olympics and less about his thoughts. (In case you haven’t heard, he is training for a comeback. His aim is to win another medal in the snowboard slalom, which he won in Nagano in 1998.) I’m going to keep an eye on this site. It would be very cool if Ross qualified; it’d be cooler if we could nail him for an interview! (Okay, both would be cool.) I should talk less about hypothetical interviews, though, and get on contacting these guys.
Best of luck to Ross!
Update.. rossrebagliati.com, not dot ca. Thanks Shannon!
Did you hear that he is also suing CTV for their lead character in the Whistler show, which he says has an uncanny resemblence to him and paints him in a very negative light?

Ross - You were an national embarassment to yourself and your country at the 1998 Olympics.
“I didn’t inhale. I was just in a room with some smoked refer.” Ya right. Great example of deflection and Canadian (in)tolerance from a so-called role model.
What a legacy your medal was!
Now as a has-been-never-was with no career, no recognition and a huge ego, you decide you’re the person being depicted on the CTV show “Whistler”.
If the shoe fits, Ross, wear it……
I’ve heard of the show lawsuit, yes, but I haven’t seen the show itself.
The Nagano incident was certainly bizarre, but it’s not like he was caught with anything “performance enhacning”. Not to say any role model test positive for any drug… but I would have been far more disappointed if it was, say, steriods.
Thanks for the comment,
