Tomorrow’s the Big Day

Tomorrow is The Big Day.

Tomorrow I will find out what’s wrong with the knee.

Tomorrow, I think, the orthopaedic surgeon will tell me that I have an ACL tear and that need to be “scoped“.

It’s kind of funny, actually, that I’ve had to wait three or four weeks to find out what’s wrong when a couple of people probably already know the diagnosis: namely the MRI clinic in Buffalo and the surgeon himself, both of whom have had the results since I got the MRI done. I actually have a copy of the MRI images, but not the summary, and the images themselves make no sense to me.

But no matter; I don’t mind waiting a few weeks for the results to be revealed to me. Had I not gone to Buffalo, I would be waiting until August, a few weeks after my Ontario MRI.

You know, if the news isn’t too bad, I just might think of going to Chile after all. A few of us up here are going nuts already. It’s going to be a loooong summer! But I guess you need that balance.

  1. I can’t believe you are still waiting to find out the results, well at least until today that is.
I’ve been meaning to ask you about it, but I guess you wouldn’t have known anyhow.
Hope the TTC ‘surprise’ strike didn’t affect your ability to get to the appointment, that would be beyond a bummer. Keep us posted on the results.
