On Segways and Awesomeness
Spring has not gone well. I’ve hurt my knee, I have been a victim of
identity theft, and worst of all… I can’t snowboard. But last week, I
got to try something that rivals the Freebord in its complete awesomeness:
Segways!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen, Segways are totally badass.
Imagine being able to tool around a city on a scooter that takes no
effort and runs on electricity! To move forward, just lean forward.
Same thing to move back. And to stop right away.. simply crouch! No
hopping off the scooter required!
I want one.
Interestingly, they can be a
little tricky to negotiate when turning. If you decide to turn quickly
while moving at full speed, there’s a chance you can throw youself off
the thing - I saw someone else do it. 
You can tour most major cities in the U.S. with these things. I highly recommend it.

My favorite show that is soon to be no longer a show is Arrested Development. One of the main characters, G.O.B. (pronounced Jobe), rides a segway.
