Wouldn’t you know it - the Telus Ski & Snowboard Festival
in Whistler has been accompanied by tons and tons of snow. The Festival
is supposed to unofficially mark the end of winter; instead, Whistler
has been getting dumped on over the past several days.
(In fact, I got a report from a friend up there on Sunday telling me it
had snowed something like 50 centimetres in two days. From the sounds
of it, even my awesome powder day earlier this year was beat.)
Anyway, Transworld Snowboarding (I really should add them to my favourites) has a write-up
on the rail session held Saturday night. Looks like it was a serious
throwdown, complete with burning cars. Check out the writeup and the
photos.
