Shaun white's site, shaunwhite.com, is created by shauns manager, who is also his brother, Jesse. Therefore it is not written by Shaun himself so it is not written in third person. Jesse often travels on the road with Shaun to all of his events making it impossible for him to upkeep the site with their busy schedule. In less then a month, shaun has been in at least 3 magazines that I know of, had several interviews and photoshoots, had the X-Games, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel, participated in the Dew Action Sports Tour's Right Guard Open and won(not to mention he has to practice for the upcoming Vans Invitational of the tour), like at all Dew Action Sports Tour stops he also had a few press conferences, and he moved into a new house. Because of this hectic schedule, it is impossible for them to focus on managing fan sites, especially when so many fans seem content with their own fan-made sites such as white-wahpah. On top of that, Shaun White is a big enough name in action sports that he does not need to associate himself with fancy websites in order to become more famous. He already IS famous and a regular household name. In addition, most action sports lovers are not the type to waste their lives away on the internet googling Shaun White. They are much more likely to be there live and anyone who has ever been to any sort of action sports event or seen one on TV knows who he is. Anyone who hasn't isn't into action sports and wouldn't know who Shaun White is enough to google him. Therefore, there really is no need for him to have fancy websites for any reason except crazed fangirls, who are creative and knowledgable enough to make their own.

not all shaun white sites suck...if you had done any searching at all you would have discovered the biggest fan site...white-wahpah.net! ^_^ (heaven on earth) and that one most certainly does NOT suck...all of shaun's biggest fans hang out at that site...also, shaun is too busy to make his myspace super-fantastic...either way it isnt intended for fans the way that tony hawk's is...its his PERSONAL myspace, so he probably doesnt care if it represents himself to his fans in a good way or not because i dont believe he realizes that almost every single one of his fans has it because most of them respect him enough not to annoy him with millions of messages...also, there are hundreds of fake ones made by weirdos that distract from his real one because most people assume his would be more decorated than it is...but any real fan who knows who he hangs out with and such can easily find his myspace...
so basically...WHITE WAHPAH!!!!!! <3 the greatest website ever!
^_^
P.S. how do you know where to send a letter to shaun? not even the white-wahpah gals know that
P.S.S. SHAUN ROCKS!!! ^_^
